Sheb Shumar didn't stumble into the laundry business — he spent two decades in Boston hospitality learning exactly what "good service" actually means. Starting as a concierge, earning his degree in Hospitality Management, and working his way up through front desk management to Club Level Manager at InterContinental, Sheb spent years on the other side of the request: the guy hotel guests and staff turned to when something needed to get done right, and get done now. That's the standard he built A-List Laundry on.

He's no stranger to running his own shop, either — Sheb owned and operated A-List Dry Cleaners for seven years before eventually launching A-List Laundry in 2020, bringing commercial laundry service to hotels, restaurants, government offices, airlines, and fitness businesses across the Boston area. His philosophy is baked right into the company motto: "No is not in our vocabulary." That's not a tagline — it's how Sheb personally runs every account, because he still believes the best way to earn a client's trust is to be the person who never leaves them hanging.
